Hello All,
As mentioned in my previous post I said that many other people have approached me to join their networking marketing business. I have been through countless business plans and seen the potential opportunities in these thriving companies. However, none of them seemed like it was fair to me and to those who would be below me. it also seemed like it was hard to sell alongside mass recruiting. I don't mind recruiting people, but I do mind that in a lot of cases people at the bottom are forgotten and aren't given an equal opportunity to super seed their seniors. Most of the time, you will see that due to hierarchy there is incremental levels of pay as you go along the organisational structure. Even in other companies which seem to mimic the binomial structure, the compensation is totally different.
I would like to explain to you the concept of Market America and show you the differences between this company and others.
Market Australia (MA) is all about giving power back to the consumers, by rewarding what they already do best at - consuming. With the way consumers are changing their buying habits, we can see that the internet is the biggest platform in the world for ecommerce. So, unlike other companies, MA bought out a UK based website called SHOP.COM . This was a major turn around for the company because it gave them access to partner websites. This means (for Australia as an example) that we were able to give ourselves, our friends and family the opportunity to earn some cash back just by shopping at David Jones, Asos, Iconic, Dan Murphy's and many other popular stores within Australia. This is something a lot of people within Australia currently do - with 60% of people currently using the internet and 50% of people using it for online shopping.
With this amount of people currently using the internet, companies sought to spend millions of dollars just on advertising to grab every consumer's attention. So what MA does is make an agreement with these partner companies to give a % of their marketing expenditure to the company. This should go to MA, however, the income is distributed both to the unfranchise owner and their customers. The customer will attain a certain % of cash back (this can be from 0-40%), while the unfranchise owner gets .5% of the purchase and Internet Business Volume (which is another form of commission - this will be explained later in the post). To me, the percentage can seem low, however, we are mistaken when find out that all other unfranchise owners above you get 100% of the IBV you just attained. This can go through thousands and thousands of people. How does this even seem remotely possible - most franchise owners of McDonald's, JB Hi-Fi's and others only get somewhere between 10-40% commission rates. Average workers who are in sales receive a lot less than that approximately 0.1-5%. Gaining 100% of commissions which flows upwards is utterly crazy and when you think about the amount of people who are above you, this can be exponential.
In short this IBV gets you these results if accomplished on both sides:
1200 IBV (left bank) + 1200 IBV (right bank) = $300
2400 IBV( left bank) + 2400 IBV (right bank) = $300
3600 IBV (left bank) + 3600 IBV (right bank)= $300
5000 IBV (left bank) + 5000 IBV (right bank)= $600
TOTAL = $1500 max per week
This can only happen once per week and only resets after 365 days which is a lot longer than other companies which may only give you a month.Which means for IBV you can only earn a maximum of $1500 a week. This is powerful, because this means that your seniors who are most likely making this amount per week are forced to open up another shop underneath you and transfer all their spending to that shop and build it thoroughly to support their shop which actually helps you too - because as I said before, all this IBV flows up 100%.
IBV is absolutely amazing but this is only the third component of your pay structure. There is BV which is selling the MA exclusive product line like isotonix and motives (I will do product specific reviews in future posts). Now, like IBV, whatever your partners beneath you sell, you get the 100% of the Business Volume (BV). This is where my jaw dropped and I said how can MA keep up with all of this commission going all around the organisation? Well, this is what makes MA so powerful - they're a product brokerage company which means that they have little to no debt at all because they don't manufacture anything and only find suppliers with the best products to sell. If the product is terrible and no one likes it, they just simply replace it with something better and more towards customer needs. BV is another amazing commission plan just like IBV which can snowball in future.
Just like IBV you can get the following pay with BV which must be accomplished on both sides:
1200 BV (left bank) + 1200 BV (right bank)= $300
2400 BV (left bank) + 2400 BV (right bank)= $300
3600 BV (left bank) + 3600 BV (right bank)= $300
5000 BV (left bank) + 5000 BV (right bank)= $600
TOTAL = $1500 max per week
All up if you fulfill these quotas you can reach $3000 per week maximum. This means that the person on top is never getting more than the person in the middle or even bottom. Everyone will converge at some point if they follow the system. The only way someone gets more money is by opening up more shops and is then forced to help other people get to the same pay. This is why I felt like MA is so fair in their pay structure. The capped pay means that the company isn't about mass recruiting when it comes to your pay, it's about building a good team to fulfill these targets!
Compared to other companies which offer a similar structure are often competitive and only offer incremental commission styles which are exactly the same as traditional companies. This means that the person at the top will always get the most - so first come first serve. This is completely different to the MA structure, because as I said, everyone has an equal chance because of the commission pay cap and the balancing of both sides. Other companies also often utilise percentages as a way of paying for example the person at the bottom will get 0% his senior will get 2% and so on until 20 or so % which are about 5-10 tiers above you.
Finally, the last type of pay is simply through retail profit. The exclusive products which MA sell are sold to distributors at cost price and are then sold at retail price where we keep 100% of retail profits. So once again, we are given 100% of profits here. This then stresses the importance of performing as a team and on your own here too - thus edifying the possibility of super seeding your seniors in performance.
This is why I believed that due to the compensation plan we are able to find assurance in seeing the profitability in this type of business where they expect we earn our desired income in 2-3 years. They absolutely stress that this isn't a get rich, fast scheme and requires time leveraging and performance. Most would tell you otherwise and give you the talk from a top tier distributor who will motivate you and try to persuade you to become part of their team and become the new grunt who will do all the work.
This is my second week of being in the business and have recruited 1 person already and looking towards my second person ( I will dive into the costs of the unfranchise business in future posts but so far I have only paid $500 for their products which I am currently using with my family). I would like to stress that the more time you spend on the company into building your team with your partners you will absolutely see the ripple effect later on down the track. As such, I will show this in effect when I become much more involved in the company and start seeing some returns.
Regards,
Warren
